The True Blessing

David Chen/Chloe Su英譯

Someone asked an author: “What is the greatest tragedy in life?” He answered: “After 20 years of earning fame, wealth, status, comes another 20 years of retrieving back the health, freedom, and imagination given only in our youth.”

We always strive for external things in which we thought are treasure. But the next day, we throw them away as if they never mattered. The “real blessing” comes from spiritual growth and maturity instead of the materialistic things around us. When our lives become abundant, we can then bless and influence other people. This will be the eternal peace and joy in our lifetime.

In the beginning of this year, let us set a goal to become a giver, in which we will be blessed as well!
